Amsterdam and its inhabitants, a colourful mix of different subcultures and free and open lifestyles.


Dutch culture is diverse, reflecting regional differences as well as the foreign influences thanks to the merchant and exploring spirit of the Dutch and the influx of immigrants. The Netherlands and Dutch people have played an important role for centuries as a culturally liberal and tolerant centre, with the Dutch Golden Age regarded as the zenith.

We live in the center of Amsterdam, the capital of Holland/the Netherlands, with its beautiful canals, lined with houseboats.



Amsterdam is a vibrant city with a rich cultural-historical heritage, a substantial creative industry and a diverse cultural life. Its inhabitants are a colourful mix of different subcultures and free and open lifestyles.
